Who I Am

This Is My Story

Hello and thanks for visiting my website. I wanted to share a quick snapshot of who I am, how I got here and what I do. I started Chuck Sullivan Ministries in 1985 right after graduating from Liberty University with a Bachelors degree in vocal performance. I had the privilege of being a part of a vocal group called the Sounds Of Liberty who sang for TV broadcasts and special events all over the nation. I also got to travel as a singer with the chancellor of the college to raise funds and promote the school.

I moved to Nashville in 1986 to work in the music business and was blessed with opportunities to work with great composers, arrangers, producers, and musicians. There’s a copy of ministry highlights you can check out here.

I met and married the love of my life and started a 5 year assignment of service to a local church in the Atlanta area and was blessed to be artist-in-residence for their ministry and media ministry. During that time I sensed a desire for having my own ministry business. I launched out in 1994 and spent the next few years building my business. Along the way I got to sing with some of the most talented men I’ve ever known in a group called Friends IV. We were nominated for a Dove award in 1995.

In 1999 two events rocked my world: a serious medial situation and a revolution in my personal worship. God changed my heart toward worship and my approach by leading worship at youth camps…I watched young people and adult leadership abandon themselves before God and it transformed me. God also took me through a trying physical issue but healed me and brought me out with a new sense of purpose: to help others experience authentic and healthy worship.

I got my first opportunity to serve a church in stabilizing and moving forward in 2002-2004 and the collective efforts of our leadership team saw great progress. That church had explosive growth (1000+ in year 1) and renewed vision of their future. As a team leader, the recommendations our team made and put into place helped them grow and experience years of healthy worship and stable ministry.

During the past 10 years I have served 8 churches in helping their teams stabilize, transition and move forward in their worship & music ministries. I have also had an opportunity to coach with some great leaders and serve on their senior leadership teams. It’s been gratifying to walk with them into progress. Along the way I have continued the other parts of this ministry: leading worship for thousands on the foreign mission field and national evangelical outreaches, performing in concerts and special programs, and served in local church and community efforts. It has been amazing and I’m looking forward to the future. I love to help others grow. I believe I can help you!
